The 15,000-acre PUNTACANA Resort and Club is located on the beach and approximately five minutes from Punta Cana International Airport. Room rates include a daily breakfast and dinner. The entire property is a community of beachfront buildings and villas with an upscale resort in the middle. The resort's amenities include the beachfront clubhouse, marina, tennis center, ecological nature preserve, championship PB Dye golf course, fitness center and watersports. The newly opened Six Senses Spa offers a variety of treatments and experiences to enjoy. Located next door to the resort, the Ranch offers horseback riding excursions and riding classes. The Dive Center at PUNTACANA Resort and Club, recognized by PADI as a Gold Palm Resort, offers two daily dive trips for certified divers for an additional per-person fee. Each evening at La Cana Theater, located next to the swimming pool, guests can enjoy a variety of nightly shows and Dominican Merengue and Salsa music. In the lobby area there's live piano music, and at Mamma Venezia and La Cana Restaurant there is live guitar and piano music nightly. La Proa Discotheque is open nightly offering a varied repertoire of international music. There are plenty of dining options, including La Yola for seafood and pasta, La Choza (directly on the beach and overlooking La Marina Punta Cana), gourmet restaurant with Caribbean nouvelle cuisine, a pizzeria, a grill, Mamma Venezia for Italian cuisine, Anani gourmet restaurant, Bamboo for Asian International Cuisine, La Yola for Seafood-Mediterranean Cuisine and La Cana for international buffets. All rooms feature balconies or terraces, air-conditioning, minibars, ceiling fans, cable TV, safes, and marble bathrooms with tubs, showers, bidets, and hairdryers.
